Thanks to some gentle pushing from Hornet416, I have gotten off my privileged American butt to help do something- however seemingly insignificant- to assist with aftermath of the terrible earthquake that shook Haiti on January 12th.
Bungie is running the
"Be A Hero!" campaign in order to raise funds for the American Red Cross. Profits from their merchandise sales will be donated to the charity, as well as up to $77,000 based on participation in online Halo games this Wednesday and Thursday.
To rally support for this campaign, the SGP will be taking part by playing Halo 3 during the two days of the event. Halo 3 was chosen over ODST since it allows party sizes greater than four. Please

This is a win-win opportunity to both meet your fellow SGP members and support the lives of others who are struggling to live though a horrific tragedy.
