Idea of where the sword in ODST could be

Well i have had this idea for a few days but never got a chance to try it.

I think the sword might be over at the destoryed ONI building in MS but you can only get to it with a phantom. to get into the phantom you will need a mongoose and a buddy to kill the turret gunner(if there is one) then mongoose jump(throw grenade under mongoose and jump on explosion) into the turret and then use the phantom to fly around mombasa streets.

my bro dislikes playing ODST and you need all AL`s to get sniper and mongoose

i get live on wednesday so maybe we could try it. a good place a phantom drops off is once you complete a flashback

yeah well unless we get a mongoose we can`t do it and i don`t think the phantom will fly to that specific location so we may get stranded in some other placce but who cares

LOL i can get mongooses and ghosts. i dont know if they will dissapear during the flashback though. we could do mombasa streets then get a mongoose and supllies (rocket launchers too i can get those) and just speed run dutches mission and rush the pahntom.

actually if you load up MS you can get the mongoose right away and I now at least three areas off the top of my head where you can get a beam rifle. that solves the brunt of your problems right there...

There is a beam rifle in the craters of districts 5 and 4 and there is one under the bridge thing near the squidhenge where all the dead elites are.

I remember my friend mentioning finding a banshee in Mombasa streets, still alive. He destroyed it in shock though, and hasn't seen one since.

That might be useful, though there's no clue where to start.
