OP
My mind is blown. Seriously: this is the greatest post in the last few months.
I admit, it did draw some sweet connections, like Ark did in her article.
However, claiming that the ZombiElites have some other meaning than an interesting glitch is too far-fetched, I think. If they'd want it to matter, why didn't they make them stand longer? Or why didn't they make them become your allies, or attack you?
Besides, the achievemnt is to save the ENGINEERS. Your pretty nice just when you don't go killing them, right? And how come could the Engys be the priest and levite, when they've seemingly drawn all those cool glyphs just for the sake of the fallen Elites?
And btw, you CAN resurrect elites on CM:TP. Pics on their way.
I did not know you could resurrect them on CM:TP, if so may I ask when you succeeded in doing this? But if you are saying it is unintentional that the elites stand, I just can't agree with you. It is not unlike programmers to create a glitch in the code (or a
feature), but this does not seem to be a glitch. You cannot perform this action on anything but elites. If anything has the least code, It's elites. The code for elites would probably just be coordinates, along with the entity, and the 3d model. What kind of code could result in the elite standing up?
I think it is put there on purpose, and either there is more to it, (I suggest we DO bring them to Optican and Tri Glyph, or resurrect the ones in the alley at the same time), or that is the egg itself.
