Pan-Cam Guide, flying outside maps!

I haven't gotten this to work yet, but it seems like it could be a very valuable resource.  Someone named BlueNinja discovered a method to make your camera change to a different mode where you can fly much quicker and break through barriers.  People have found interesting models and other etc. outside of the regular areas in maps.  Here is the link

Enigma's posted a method that works flawlessly and is very easy.
As an added bonus, you can play the whole level and see the differences happen in real time (like the suddenly appearing switches). According to your link, after going to Pan Cam, there's no more playback anymore (at least that's what I understood).

Maybe you could try both and tell us what you prefer!
