Here is a thread where we can weigh in with the eggs/clues and so forth we find in the manual.  I immediately noticed the all too familiar "shotcode" on the back cover.

Also the front cover, and the first page: Welcome to Noble Team bear strikingly long barcodes.

I have barely begun to scratch the content in Reach, much less read the manual.   This is so exciting!

Yes, shotcode-similar design on the back of the game manual, which can also be seen in-game on Winter Coningency, IIRC.  The design on Halsey's Journal is somewhat similar (connected concentric rings) but not in the same format as the pseudo-shotcodes.

I can handle the shotcodes, you guys just get reading those barcodes of yours.

There is a (possibly different) shotcode on the back of the gate mentioned earlier.

but when you zoom in it turns into a grid. Very strange. I'm going to need someone with an HD Camera to take a shot of the barcode, because right now I have this:



and I cannot work with that quality.

It says that. I don't know what it means, but it could mean something.
I got that off of an edit I made. I thought it was supposed to tell me what the barcode is, not alert me of it!!!

I found this site, http://www.beachwoodreporter.com/politics/661011.html (its safe, but I wouldnt trust the links on the site) and it says:

But when I hover over the link it looks extremely suspicious...

Edit: The link isn't zulocal.com, its some completely strange thing. Go to the website and check yourself.

I do not suggest using the links.

There are mysterious relations of the number and the word barcodes, but they rarely match to the same thing. This is truly puzzling. The address 661 011 comes up a lot...
