Note worthy Areas:

Exodus: Checkpoint Bravo, you jetpack out of the map (Pulse you showed me this before) and walk the path in which you came on falcons.
If you go far enough, there is the place where you see brutes attack marines and civilains. It's just a shady platform. If you go in there, there are rooms for them to spawn. One of these rooms has a door, and if you go next to the door, a purple light shines on you and everything looks purple. I believe something is behind this door so I will look at it in theater.

LNoS: The turret that shoots seraphs is classified as a warthog turret. You can get up there by jumping up the railing or doing the Dropship glitch. Me and Nade went up today. We stood next to it, and it said "Hold X to enter Warthog Turret". It blows up too.

Way of getting out:
On when you enter the final zone (two marines should be against the door as you go out,), turn left. Grenade jump over the rail and jump down to the lower platform. Grenade jump over that rail and jump out of the map. You can wander around, and if you time a jump right with sprint, you can bypass the death barrier and go to the bottom of the map. The far away scarabs are still far away, but are higher then you.

How to get out of Exodus:
Note - You must have Jetpack
After Chekpoint Bravo, you will take a journey on Falcons and end up on a beach with two turrets, that you must turn on to end the mission. Do not turn on these turrets. Instead, look out to the bay. You should see a city on the other side. Follow the shore going right.  You may pass a wraith on the way. Once at the end of the beach, on the right side, you must jetpack up onto the rocks above. Do not jetpack to the highest rock. Jetpack to the second highest rock. Now restore your jetpack. Saving as much fuel as you can, jetpack up to the tallest rock, and quickly made your way to the edge, and jetpack over the water. You want to do this quickly because there is a death barrier. You have to jetpack past the water, onto the next rocks. Now, you are free to go anywhere.

To reach the purple room, keep following the shore. You should eventually hit a barrier. Once you hit that barrier, look the opposite way of the bay, and you should see a building. Jetpack up the the building. Once in it, while on the building, start walking the direction you came (where the turrets are). While still on the building, you should see a room. Go into the room. Stand next to the door, and have your buddy kill  you. Congrats, now whenever you are near that door, you turn purple.

This technically isn't out of the map, but it does bypass the checkpoint for the cutscene on Winter Contingency. After Checkpoint Bravo, when you are in Visegrad, approaching Dr. Sorvad's body, rather than going through the door and towards the body, go to the very end of the hallway. You can crouch jump onto one of the data modules there, and then jump from there to the top of the fence wall. From there, you can jump down and into the control room and explore. This location can be an easy opportunity to glitch a cinematic, if you have a teammate playing that you can kill.

Rather than crouch jumping, you can stand on a buddy's head and do a double jump to get on the fence. It's a tad bit easier to do.

In theater mode, you can out-of map in Winter Contingency using the dropship technique.  I did it outside the northern settlement complex (the one where a truck is parked out front.)

I took lots of screenshots, but I've noticed that Bungie filters out screenshots that you take out-of-map from the "recent screenshots" page on b.net.  You can, however, still upload them to your file share.

Here is one that shows the entire island you run around on during Rally Point Alpha.

Here is one of the big satellite dish, up way closer than you'd normally see.

And last but not least, here is a tree floating in space.

This is the ultimate proof.
CG, I've been mistaken all this time. I've been wrong.

The name of that screenshots reminds me that we might need to have a similar abbreviation system as we had in ODST.
