Hologram in the bar on New Alexandria

Everybody know the big orange hologram in the bar on New Alexandria, where the team sent to destroy the jammer is trying to fight off a large group of hunters?

You can stand on top of it.  You can't go through it, but grenades and bullets can.  I wonder if there's anything to this more than a misplaced barrier?

I don't know... I think it's there for speedruns and such... every time I go to Club Errara (spelling?) I just jetpack onto the globe and then to the jammer, detonate it, then get the hell out of there. Maybe someone could be jetpacking under it and the other on top?

Anyone think we can get a camera in it on theater? Maybe there's something interesting to see there. I can't check right now, or I would.
