Im just curious what impact this could have on any of the strategies that people are trying throughout this board. I think on Bungie.net folks have said that nothing obvious seems to happen when they complete all of the achievements. However, would completing these have any impact on what people find when exploring?

More importantly, I have not seen or heard what might happen if you complete all of the campaign missions with a score of par or better (for those that dont know, the scoring summary screen after completing each mission has a stated score to achieve for "Par"). In fact, I havent heard much discussion about or attention paid to these Par scores at all -- I dont think Bungie has mentioned them or said anything about them at all. Could completing them all result in one of the hidden secrets or easter eggs for the game?

So this leads to three questions:
Do people think that this could be important factor related to unlocking/activating squidhenge, the dark sectors, the energy sword, etc? (would Bungie really include the challenge of Par scores for each level but then not have them do anything at all? I could only see this if it was planned but then discarded but then why leave it in the scoring summary page?

Have any of the "explorers" from this site achieved all par scores already? If not, is there a chance that this has limited them in any way? (Even if completing all Par scores doesnt trigger something obvious like a pop up that explains the "achievement", I wonder if it would result in a change or unlocks to what can be found exploring Mombasa Streets (new doors unlocked, dark sectors opened up, etc)?

Lastly, does just completing all levels at Par or better do anything by itself or could it be some combination of earning all Par scores and earning all of the achievements (and/or also completing the campaign on Legendary -- or maybe even having multiple people in Co-op exploring together that have it done it)?

Curious what people think about this. I would hate to think that it does matter and some of the theories will need to be tried all over again after completing all levels with a score of Par or better.

This topic has been severely under researched. It has been talked about and most of us have started looking for Big foot as appose to paying attention to our nose hair. Considering that Halo 3 had Meta game Achievements and ODST has none, I would venture a guest to say hitting Par on every Chapter "might" prove to do/unlock "something". But this would be very time consuming and raise more questions.

What difficulty do you have to be on?
How many players do you need?
What skulls need to be active?

All the above questions would cost a lot of time and effort. 7hrs of game play per shot and 100's of different variations

Those are good points and questions too. I was just thinking about it from the perspective of a single player with free for all scoring being able to complete them all at par or better (with any combination of skulls active and at any skill level - what ever it took for them to be able to achieve it).

It brings in a whole new set of possible combinations and problems if there is also a specific difficulty level minimum or specific skulls that must be on (or even a specific number of players) needed to trigger this too. Added to that someone mentioned that par scores arent easily tracked by players (it isnt logged anywhere obvious so players would have to write down which ones they have done it on to track it -- or at least know the minimum scores for each level and check it in their campaign history on b.net).

I would hope that Bungie would have given more to go on if it did require a very specific combination of minimum difficulty level and skulls (much less number of players). I cant imagine that they would expect people to figure out something that obscure on their own, but who knows.

Seems like it might be worth testing out at the basic level of all levels completed at Par or better within solo campaign. (I guess also assuming, to start, that anything above normal difficulty with or without skulls activated -- basically whatever combination a player needs to get enough points)

Other thoughts?

I'm guessing that if there is a reward then it would come from par's on at least Solo Heroic if not Solo Legendary.  Anyone notice if par changes depending on difficulty?
